Title American rat burger

Ingredients 450g minced rat
One large onion
One egg
Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions Take the mince and the large onion, diced and mix together.
Bind together with the egg. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Form into meat patties and fry on each side until cooked through.
Serve on a seeded bun with a topping of your choice e.g. ketchup or cheese slice.
Serve with a side order of salad and French fries.

Title Armenian Rat (Microwave)

Ingredients 1kg Rat meat
40g Butter
2 Medium-sized onions, chopped
1 Clove garlic, chopped
25g Plain flour
1x4ml tsp Ground cumin seed
1/2x5ml tsp Ground allspice
2x15ml tbsp Tomato puree
275ml Stock
Salt and pepper
For serving:
Rice Pilaf


Instructions Remove the meat from the bones and cut into small cubes about 2cm square.
Melt the butter in a dish for 2 min, add the onion and garlic, cook for 3 min 100% setting. Add the meat to the onion and garlic and cook, covered for 2 min.
Add all the other ingredients. Cook covered. for 5 min, reduce to 30% setting and cook for a further 45-55 min.
Serve with rice pilaf.
