SEO (Search engine Optimisation)

Whenever you type something into a search engine like Google, Yahoo and Bing you get a list of web results that contain that term. Users tend to visit websites that are at the top of this list as they perceive those to be more relevant to the query.

If you have ever wondered why some of these websites rank better than the others this is because of a web marketing technique called Search Engine Optimization (SEO).

SEO is a technique which helps search engines find and rank your site higher than the millions of other sites in response to a search query. SEO thus helps you get traffic from search engines.

Hosting

Norfolk Computers host all of our customers websites on our own servers in UK data centres which are located in London and Nottingham.

About the Data Centres

Security
The data centre is monitored by CCTV both externally and internally. All CCTV images are recorded and stored for 3 months. The building is also surrounded by a 8ft perimeter fence. Gates are locked outside of normal business hours.

Climate Control
The data centre is fully climate controlled. The system monitors and controls the temperature and humidity levels. Cold air is forced underneath raised flooring into the bottom of each server rack, and vacuumed out of the top providing maximum cooling efficiency. The position of each server rack/apparatus is calculated by a dedicated deployment team to further optimise cooling efficiency.

Fire Suppression
Fire protection is provided by the FM200 Fire Suppression System which fills the sealed data centre with gas to extinguish any fire quickly without the use of water and without damage to any equipment.

Power Supply and Backup
Each rack has two independent power feeds, fed from two diverse connections to the national grid. Should one or both of these feeds fail a battery backup systems will cover immediate power requirements. All power to the cabinets is supplied via the UPS to maintain clean supply to the servers. If mains power is not restored within 10 seconds 3 diesel powered generators will start providing full continuous power to the data centre.

All standard website pages are £150 each and can contain text, tabbed content, photographs and graphics, videos, maps and website forms

Website payment options

Standard
We require 50% of full invoice amount with order and remaining and 50% upon completion of your new website.

Budget
If you're on a budget we will allow you to spread the cost over several equal monthly payments (First monthly payment with your order). Your website will then be made live following receipt of your final payment.
